I like to be able to organize things to my preference and with this particular Folder, I can't or at least I don't know how to unless I delete the whole Folder and repopulate it with only pictures that are desktop worthy.

But, there are also a few larger sections at this fine site dedicated to pro Mac images. And for some not all the pictures I "set to desktop" go to that folder anymore. At Mac Desktops there is a large selection of the common types of desktop pictures, such as pictures of trees, water, landscapes, etc. I just simply want to delete single pictures from that Folder that are not desktop worthy after I started to repopulate it with Pictures. They did delete from said folder, the ones I wanted to keep as well as the others I didn't. This amiibo was released alongside The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD and functions as a way to move instantly between the The Surface and The Sky in that game. I checked to make sure they did't delete from iPhoto but didn't check to see if they would delete from said Folder. I did recently delete a bunch of documents which were mostly pictures in iPhoto as well as the one in said folder. I don't know if something has changed lately in System Preferences but when I used to go to Desktop to change to a different picture in the Folders>Pictures that I have "set to desktop" from Facebook or somewhere else on the 'net or from my iPhoto, they don't all show up in this Pictures Folder like they used to.
I don't know how to do what you suggest in your second paragraph and I don't know what you mean when you say "home folder". A lovingly curated selection of 207 free hd The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild wallpapers and background images. I didn't have that problem till recently. Also, for some reason, several of the pictures that I "set to desktop" are not ending up in the said Pictures Folder and I don't know why.
If that's not possible, I will make a separate folder with just the photos I want as desktops and then delete the whole Pictures Folder and then repopulate it with desktop worthy photos. Then show them that they can access the same folders and files in a web. Introduce them to the OneDrive icon in the Folder list of Files Explorer and describe it as their new Home drive. To me it just makes sense that one should be able to delete them one at a time if one wanted to. When OneDrive is signed using and Microsoft 365 account, Desktop, Documents and Pictures folders can be kept in sync in OneDrive using it’s backup settings. I know that I can delete the whole folder but I don't see a way to delete them singlely(?).

The Folders>Pictures in System Preferneces>Desktop/Screensaver are pictures that I got off Facebook when you right click on a picture someone has posted and you have the option to set as desktop.
